A Chandler and Price letterpress is an American classic. Made in Cleveland, Ohio from 1881 to 1964, these machines were once the workhorse of the printing industry. Many are still in operation today.
Cranky Pressman is proud to call northeast Ohio home to our letterpress printing shop which of course includes a few CP presses on the equipment list.
Printed on our largest Chandler and Price letterpress and trimmed to 12"x16" size for easy framing. Detail right shows our redesign of an original CP logo.
It would have been a short trip down the highway to deliver the presses from the Chandler and Price factory to our Salem, Ohio print shop location.
The CP Letterpress Art Print was produced in our Salem, Ohio shop for graphic design enthusiasts, anyone who likes vintage machinery or just needs a damn nice poster to frame and hang on their wall.
