After a slowish period last Autumn our old floor boards are creaking again under a frenzy of letterpress activity. We appreciate all the business and hope everybody has a great 2011.
The holiday season was particularly busy with last minute projects (remember folks, Christmas in our business is supposed to come in October). Complaining aside, along with all the job work, we also had a few interesting media opportunities come up the freight elevator. We are happy to report that it appears the letterpress revival may last at least another year.
One of the events coming up is the letterpress edition in the always inspiring Uppercase Magazine - Issue #8. Our friend Charlotte Rivers, author of the recently published The Little Book of Letterpress will be a guest writer. Plus, 50 print establishments have submitted work so an actual letterpress piece will be loose inserted in every issue. Sounds like that alone is worth the cover price.
